The Trees Dallas rebranding project was a project in my Interaction Design class. I was in a team with three other designers: Nima Ayagh, Hope Bernard, and Hannah Jung. We worked collaboratively to establish the overall brand and then applied it to our own sections of the website that we developed.
First, we did expansive research on the company, its competitors, and audience. We then created user personas.
Next, we worked as a team to create the new logo and element collage for the redesigned website.
Then we got to work creating the website. My personal tasks were the website's calendar and store, both of which had expansive interactions to create in order for it to function properly. Certain elements had hover states and changing colors, as well as pop-ups when clicking for more information.
Finally, the entire site came together in order to create an experience that highlighted the company's personality.
